形態特徵

• Scandent shrubs, branchlets glabrous.
• Leaves thin-coriaceous, ovate, 8 cm long, 4–5 cm wide, apex obtuse or shortly cuspidate, base obtuse or rounded, lateral veins ca. 6 on each side of midrib.
• Inflorescences panicles 7–8 cm long, pubescent, axillary and terminal; calyx lobes coriaceous, erect, ovate-orbicular, ca. 2.5 mm long, hirsute without, ciliate; corolla white, campanulate, 10 mm long, tube 2 mm long, segments 5, apex 2-lobed, lobes ca. 3 mm long, apex obtuse or truncate; stamens much shorter than corolla segments; ovary ellipsoid, 1-celled.
• Berries ellipsoid, ca. 1.8 cm long, 10 mm across, black, glabrous.

分布

• 台灣 : in thickets at low elevations.
• 世界 : The Ryukyus and southern Japan.
